Achieving an astonishingly small size

Design Patents

In a word, "no stitching." In order to achieve this ultra-small size on the long side, it is not possible to sew the part that forms the bill storage area. If stitching were to be done, it would naturally require "room" for the stitching, which would make the wallet larger.

The Uno series does not have a sewn section for the bill compartment. Instead of sewing, the bill compartment is folded and fastened with a hook, achieving a sleek design without the need for stitching.

This unconventional design makes it 3 to 4 cm thinner than a regular wallet, and more than 1 cm thicker than even the smallest long wallets on the market.

2. Extremely small, thin, and large capacity

If you've seen it up to this point, it might seem like a long wallet that's just focused on being small, but we understand that smallness alone isn't enough to end your wallet search.

First of all, the Uno ver.2 is not only extremely small, but also thin and has a large capacity.
It can hold a maximum of 13 cards, 30 coins, and 30 bills, and the center of the wallet is only 18mm thick.

The thickest part, the coin purse, is only about 25mm.

How can a wallet achieve the contradictory goals of being small and thin and having a large capacity? The secret lies in its structure. The main factors that make a wallet thick are the overlapping cards and the dividers between them.

First of all, this product is designed so that cards are arranged vertically, with only three cards overlapping at once. Most wallets tend to have cards arranged horizontally, with five or six cards overlapping at once.

Next, there are dividers to separate cards, but this product does not have any dividers at all. By inserting cards into the diagonal slits, you can store cards separately. Most wallets have dividers between cards, but this makes the wallet thicker.

The Uno series has separate card slots , so you can find the card you want in an instant and quickly take it out the next moment.

The coin purse is intentionally made shallow for good visibility, allowing you to quickly find the coin you're looking for and easily remove it without having to reach deep into the purse.

The three-dimensional structure of the bill storage section allows for smooth insertion and removal of bills.

By placing the IC card in a separate card pocket, it is less likely to interfere with other cards and can be passed through ticket gates as is.

Three improvements from the previous model

1. Size remains almost the same, but capacity has increased

The amount of storage space has changed significantly, allowing items to be stored easily and easily accessed.

Moreover, the overall size is almost the same, with only the short side being 1mm larger.

The secret to achieving this increased capacity lies in a change in structure.

The most frequently requested improvement for the previous model was to increase the capacity of the coin purse. This was the area we focused the most on. We were able to successfully expand the coin purse both vertically and horizontally.

The zipper is now 1.5cm longer, which means the opening is now larger. This difference is so significant that it's surprisingly easy to use.

When comparing the appearance of the wallet with 25 coins inside, there is a big difference in appearance. The previous model looks stuffed, but this model barely bulges and maintains a beautiful shape.

Buttero is known as the king of Italian leather and the finest in leather. It is made from the shoulder of a steer and is vegetable tanned. Because it is made from the hard shoulder, it is characterized by its firmness and resilience. While individual leathers may have slight stripes, they may have some of the common shoulder streaks.

It is dyed using excellent dyeing techniques, so it has a beautiful, transparent color while also having a firm, heavy feel.

This wallet has been in use by a staff member for about eight months. It has gradually gained depth and developed a unique character. You can enjoy the changes that occur over time.

Choosing materials that benefit the earth and contribute to a sustainable society

Much genuine leather (leather made from animal skin) is made from animal skin that would otherwise be discarded due to livestock farming, and is said to be more environmentally friendly than discarding it as is.

When trying to achieve texture and durability in leather materials, chemicals and additives are often used. The manufacturing and processing of leather using chemicals can produce by-products that are not good for the environment.
